Explanation / Answer

ii)
f = 2.4sin(3.4pi*x)

We get it hwen the argument of sin is pi/2 or 5pi/2

3.4pi*x = pi/2
So, x = 1/6.8 or 5/34

3.4pi*x = 5pi/2
x = 5/6.8 or 50/58 or 25/34

So,
5/34 and 25/34 ----> ANS

--------------------------------------------------------------

iv)
This happens when the argument is 3pi/2 or 7pi/2
3.4pi*x = 3pi/2
x = 3/6.8 or 30/68 or 15/34

And we have 3.4pi*x = 7pi/2
x = 7/6.8
x = 70/68
x = 35/34

So, 15/34 and 35/34 ----> ANS

------------------------------------------------------------

b)
cos(2.6x) must be 1 basically for max
So, 2.6x = 0 or 2.6x = 2pi
So,
x = 0 or x = pi/1.3 ---> ANS

Min = -5.4 + 3.2 i,e -2.2 ---> ANS

And when this occurs?

When 2.6x = pi or 3pi
x = pi/2.6 or 3pi/2.6 ----> ANS
