Explanation / Answer

5. The stratosphere is where ozone exists.

The distinguishing feature of the stratosphere is its ability of absorption of solar ultraviolet radiation by the ozone layer which is found at a depth of about 25km to 30 km.

6. The troposphere is where the most of the solar radiation is absorbed.

Troposphere is the lowermost part of the atmospheric mass. A considerable part of the CO2 and water vapours of the atmosphere are oncentrated in the troposphere. Water vapour and CO2 have the property of absorbing thermal energy of Sun and this makes troposphere somewhat hot compared to other atmospheric layers.

7. Without the natural effects of greenhouse gases, life on earth would overfreeze and overheat.

The water vapour and CO2 gas of the atmosphere retain the solar heat within the atmosphere causing greenhouse effect. If the amount of that gases increases, the Earth would be warmer or overheated. Similarly if these gases decrease, the normal heat would be disbalanced and the life would overfreeze.

8. The moon has an albedo of 10%- 20%, average 12%.

With changing the phases, the brightness of the moon changes drastically.
