What other meteorological ways can you unfortunately crack your own windshield?Explanation / Answer
After the rock has hit the windshield it left a crack, and when the car was parked and after some time the glass was found broken. It may be due to different reasons.
The most likely case is that there would have been rainy and cold weather outside so due to these extreme condition the rainwater on the windshield due to cold conditions expand and result in crack.
Other cases may happen such that strong wind was blowing resulting in low air pressure left the crack propagate.
Also it is ssen that when the windshield is subjected to extreme weather conditions ( too much cold / hot) such as after car servicing from garage which is hot the car is brought to some cold place, these may result in further cracking.
