Hi so this isn’t really a solve the question type of question.
I am taking tectonics and geochemistry courses this semester and both require papers to write with research.
I am doing the Sierra nevadas as a topic and they’re interesting to say. Any ideas on what to write about? I found a bunch of scientific articles and publishing’s on them but don’t know what to write that is 4-6 pages in length? Any ideas could help me write a smooth paper. I would recommend you to emphasize on the tectonics of the mountain range primarily, than its geochemistry and write on it..Writing on Tectonic settings will consequently lead to the kind of mechanisms that gave rise to geomorphology, different rock types involved,thereby also giving information on the rocktypes ,structural geology of the area,etc .thereafter take the help of isotopes articles of geochemistry and shed a little more light on the age of the rocks .In the end write about your idea what purpose can the topic you choose serve the geological interest in the world of scientific research.
