You should do this paper on your own. You do not need to consult someone else or some other source. This is not a research paper. The paper should be a minimum of 700 words. It can be submitted early too. Deadline: This paper is due before 11.:30pm, Friday, April 20. Lessons from Nature Ralph Waldo Emerson, American philosopher and transcendentalist said, "Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience." While this is a message about the value of patience, it is also a message pointing us to nature as a source of moral and spiritual inspiration and guidance. Emerson and other transcendentalists (e.g. Henry Thoreau, Margaret Fuller), while not concerned with global warming were sensitive to the view that humans were part of the natural environment and rooted in it. Reflect on what Emerson says about nature. Do you think that this view is reasonable? -what is your impression of these claims/beliefs? -what is important and significant about this point of view? -what may be the downside of this point of view? Suggestions -try to connect what is being said to your own experience; again, try to do this paper on your own and independently generate your own thoughts without going online or discussing it with a lot

Explanation / Answer

"Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience". It's a beautiful quote where people must understand it's beauty and believe in it.

From the above quotation I believe every work has a own nature of doing it and the time consumes as per the nature of the work, so don't rush for it but achieve with virtue of patience.

Many people race through life accomplishing marvelous things. They seem to get more done in a month than others get done in a year. They are the go getters; the movers and shakers.

For the rest of us going slower seems to be better. Ralph Waldo Emerson said it in this quote, "Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience." There are times we need to rush to finish things, but in the scheme of things Emerson had the right idea. Take things at natures pace.

For example, Take weight loss. You can join some diet concept and lose a lot of weight quickly. More likely than not you will gain the weight back plus some when you stop the diet. In addition, the diet may not be healthy and your body will suffer because of it.

When you do it nature's way and lose a little at a time over a longer period, you have a better change of maintaining your weight loss. Remember, nature's secret is patience.

Many things we try to learn or do are not extremely important to master in a very short time. We can take the relaxed viewpoint and learn at a pace that relaxes us instead of stressing our very being.
