PLEASE EXPLAIN/DISCUSS I am fascinated by how much and quickly I can access information on my android phone. I have not used an iphone, other than to check if the HD video lectures can be streamed on it. Other than search, we access information by a series of tab selections. Actually, many well designed websites, and gadgets have rows of tabs. Let us require that each row has to have the same number w of tabs. When there are h rows, then the total number of choices is w^h . What should be the optimal number of tabs in a given row to maximize the total number of choices.

Since, we have given each row requires same number of tabs =w

when there are 'h' rows ......total number of choices will be w^h

And we are given to find optimal number of tabs to maximize total number of choices

It is already given number of tabs for each rows going to be same 'w'

It means only number of rows vary ='h'

So, in any row , the number of tabs will be 'w'

Hence , optimal number of tabs =w in a given row to maximize the total number of choices.......ANswer
