according to the graph f '(x)=0 at x= -2 , x= 1 and x= 4

so thse are the critical points

but at x= -2 there is no sign change in f '(x) so at x=-2 there is neither a maxima nor a nimima

at x= 1

f '(x) changes sign from + to - so at x= 1 we'll get a local maxima

at x= 4

f '(x) changes sign from - to + so at x= 4 we'll get a local mimima

therefore

(mxima, minima) = (1, 4)
