3. Prehistoric men dwelled in caves along with domisticated animals. So, they created art when they wanted to decorate their caves and give prime importance to their domisticated animals with which they lived. Another popular explanation as to why prehistoric people developed art revolves to the sayng "Art for Art's sake" which implies that these people devloped art in order to assuage their boredom and because these arts looked beautiful. It is the basic natural instinct of man.
