As I write these words, Volcano Mayon in the Philippines is erupting, pushing the authorities in this island area to evacuate more than 80,000 people. The first thing that I would be doing in this case of volcano eruption is to make various NGO’s to distribute face masks as these eruptions will emit a lot of pollutants in the atmosphere and face masks with activated carbon or with some other mechanism will protect the people. Apart from this I would advice various television channels to telecast this warning of volcano eruption with an advice that they should close their windows and doors for their protection. Apart from this I will use all the planes whether chartered or normal to evacuate those 80,000 people to same safe area. Will elert various self help and rescue groups to be on their feets and help in this process of evacuation.
