Las Vegas probably consumes more electricity per capita than most other cities, because all the spotlights and neon signs and fountain lights stay on all night and indeed most of the day. Yet all the lights and 'glitz' and 'bling' are what makes Las Vegas famous. The 'electricity' draws tourists and gamblers into the Las Vegas economy.

Part 1 : It is good that The 'electricity' draws tourists and gamblers into the Las Vegas economy and it gives more income to the country. Las Vegas can minimize the usage of electricity at other areas or can use renewable energy ,so the economy continues to grow.
Part 2: The Las Vegas consuming a large amount of electricity is not a good model for other tourist destinations. Other destinations also may start to use large amount of electricity.So it will result in energy deficit.
