2) Finger prints has been used by forensic experts since centuries in the identification of individuals. No two individuals even identical twins have the same finger print and it is therefore an important tool in the identification of criminals.

3) Presumptive test is just a screening test. The results of presumptive test are confirmed by confirmatory test. For example, pap smear is used as a presumptive test for cervical cancer whereas histological examination of cervical tissue is confirmatory test.

Blood - hydrogen peroxide test

Semen - acid phosphatase test

Saliva - presence of amylase activity

Urine - urease test, jaffes test

Faeces - urobilinogen test
