Nowadays, the popular culture in the US is fascinated with having ultra-white teeth. People across the country spend a lot of money on oral products that promise to whiten and brighten their smile. Your job today, however, is to make a convincing argument for people to stop whitening their teeth – and start either 1) blackening them instead! or 2) using sticks instead of toothbrushes! You have set up a booth in front of a popular pharmacy to reach your target audience. Use the information provided in the attached articles to persuade customers coming into the pharmacy to use your natural plant twigs for their oral health. Remember – you must make your argument understandable to a lay audience – so copying a bunch of stuff directly from the papers will not work! Choose one or a small set of plant products to sell at your booth. Explain what plants they are (scientific and common names), how to use them, and what biological activities they have. Overall, use the info that you have available to you from the chapter and from the attached articles and be creative in your sales pitch!

Nowdays, several synthetic toothbrushes available in the market but basics of toithbrushes are same no matter what brand you choose. In ancient times or nowdays in rural area most people are using chewing sticks instead of brushes. Although available synthetic toothbrushes have large impact on our societies but associated with several side effect such as cost, hygine because you have to store it near basin, affect the gum because of their hardness and doesnt content any natural ingredient. Here , i am presenting a series of natural toothbrushes means chewing sticks. Using this stick has several advantage such as low cost, no problem of hygine, contain natural ingredient such as tannins, ascorbic acid, Cl, Fl, Si which properly heal inflammed and bleeding gum, remove tartar and other stain from teeth, remineralize the dental hard tissue,increase salivary flow also has antibacterial and antiseptic properties, no need of toothpaste.

So if you use chewing sticks, you are getting a more benefits in lower rate with no side effect because it is plant twig. So, natural is always better than synthetic. There are several plant used as chewing stick. You have to chew end of the stick until bristles are formed from the fibre of the stick. All plants are used in this way.
