1. Endotherms are mammals and birds which use metabolic heat to keep a stable body temperatures. This is affected by how much content of muscle to fat is present in the body. So usually endotherms have higher metabolic rates than ectoderms.
2. Cheetah can be placed above chimpanzee and it can be characterised as endotherm because in the graph as we see all the mammals are endotherms. Since cheetah being a mammal it is probably an endotherm.
3. Endotherms sustain body temperature in large range of environments by internal heating. This heat is produced by digestion of food and contraction of muscles. Since we know cheetah is a predator and is always active while hunting it requires more amount of energy and a sustained body temperature. This is found in the article of evolution of endothermy by Bluyugganaut. Hence cheetah must be an endotherm.
4. In ectoderms as their body mass increased their metabolic rates also increased but in cod, python and sandbar shark as their mass increased their metabolic rates decreased.
5. The animals with similar mass Saltwater crocodile and horse varies in their metabolic rates, where the mass of horse is less but it has high metabolic rate than crocodile. And in Sandbar shark and rabbit their masses are almost similar but metabolic rate in rabbit is high. And in raven and lemon shark with similar masses the metabolic rate in raven is higher. This shows that all the endotherms have higher metabolic rates.
6. Dinosaurs fossils were known to be found at higher latitudes, so they must be endothermic to maintain body temperatures. Dinosaurs were ancestors of birds and the bones of them are similar to birds and mammals. And also size of dinosaurs is very large and almost all endotherms grow faster than ectoderms. So they must endothermic to obtain such a large size. These evidences shows that dinosaurs are probably endothermic.
