Think of the cell as a factory that makes a product. What sorts of activities would be necessary to have a factory that builds a product and ships that product to consumers (the outside world)? What properties of the different biological molecules would allow them to serve this purpose? Using your understanding of the biological molecules you studied in Chapter 5 describe how each of these molecules might play a role in your factory. I will give you two things factories need to run for example: 1) Factories need to have walls to separate the specialized equipment, starting materials, and products they make from the outside environment: The molecules that might be used to build a wall are? What properties make them a good wall? 2) Factories need a blueprint and instructions to tell the employees or machines how to make the product? The molecules used to accomplish this function are? What are the properties of these molecules that allow them to perform this function? Feel free to use a labeled drawing or descriptive story to illustrate your factory made of Biological molecules. Considering cell as a factory, for its continuous functioning it needs to make proteins, I mean products and needs to harvest energy to be available for service and proper disposal of waste also is definitely required.

For the above three functioning to occur we need employees in the factory to work. According to the work assigned the priority differs as per the situation and energy utilised on them also differs.

Here we name the concerned people in the factory are named as follows; the boss of the company aka Nucleus, the factory is present in a location named Cytoplasm, the working area for protein synthesis or product synthesis being endoplasmic reticulum and the machines working are none other than ribosomes. The packing happens in sector called golgi apparatus and most important discarding the waste products and non functioning products is done in the lysosome and vacuole.

All the above mentioned are just the components of a factory but the most important and vital constitutents are RNA molecules who are the employees of the factory.

For the synthesis of factory wall chief things required are NAM and NAG and adjuvants like penta-peptide. And some workers called transpeptidase. For a good wall to be built the boss/nucleus needs to give instructions to the factory to do so by sending the message via RNA worker who elicits the machines/ribosomes and ER functioning and leads into the synthesis of the products which are further packaged tightly using transpeptidase worker.

The blueprint of the factory is nothing but the rna workers who properly give instructive to the concerned departments and get the work done.
