Is it possible that our intelligence in use of medicine, technology, or alteration of the environment have interrupted the evolution of this structure any further?

Answer: there are lots of problematic structure in human body systems. The common is our genitals are very closely located to our rectum. For females the urethra is very short so the infection spreads quickly and leads to UTIs.

Our genitals also function multiple things. The extremely narrow human birth canal resulting significantly increased risk of developing maternal problems. Both mother and child could be in Danger while giving birth for prolonged labor and this can lead to death.

Alterations could be done using operation but we have to think about side effects of medicine which could be reason for developing other disease.
