Explanation / Answer

Answer: please put the next question separately in case of multiple qauetiosn allowed to answer the first question only

Current Price of the bond : $948.6

Maturity: 1-year

Face value : $1000

Use the below formula to calculate YTM

Yeild = ( Face Value/ Present Value)^(1/n) -1

n is the number of periods i.e. years to maturity which is 1 here

yeild = (1000/948.6)(1/1)-1

yeild to maturity = 1.054185 - 1

Yeild to maturity = .054185

convert it in to percent by multiplying with 100

5.4185% is the yeild to maturity

put these values in business calculator using yeild function will give you the same result.

FV and PV i have already mentioned and years to maturity is 1
