It is the the graph which defines the phi aginst Psi of amino acid residues in protein structure. This plot is also called as Ramchandran plot. It defines the two angles of Rotation around any number of alpha carbon atoms in protein. So the alpha carbon described above has very similar Phi and Psi as it's neighbouring alpha carbons.
