Yes for this unfamiliar situation Audience assessment is very important .For doing audience assessment first up all we have to reach up to the audience. After reaching or approaching to audience a planned & short time interaction will help to discuss on the issue. Now its not feasible reach to 40000 citizens.But If researcher makes segmentation of the area & if he / she approach to all area & take a defined sample & meet with people .Discuss views , understands their requirements , Inform them about company product that wiil help to under about the audiences.
