5.a. Nucleotide is formed combination of nitrogenous base, pentose sugar and phosphate group, e.g. ATP and NADPH.
Nucleic acid is formed by polymerization of nucleotides, e.g. deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and ribonucleic acid (RNA).
DNA is a type of nucleic acid composed of deoxyribose sugar as its pentose sugar.
5.b. Nucleotides are composed of nitrogenous bases such as adenine, guanine, cytosine and thymine (or uracil in RNA). The arrangement of these nitrogenous bases in nucleic acid provides a specific sequence of the nucleotides. This sequence is utilized as code for protein synthesis.
6.a. Fatty acids are composed of long aliphatic chain of carbon with carboxylic acid group at one end. In other biomacromolecules such polysaccharides, nucleic acids and proteins, monomeric units are joined by glycosidic, phosphodiester and amide bonds respectively. In fatty acids, carbon-carbon bond are formed to generate long aliphatic chain.
6.b. Fatty acids are very important in separating individual cells from extracellular environment by forming lipid bilayer. In lipid bilayer, fatty acids are aarnaged in a fashion so that their polar heads remain outward while non-polar (hydrophilic) aliphatic chain remain inward. This way a barrier is formed and water molecules can not pass through it.

The unsaturated fatty acids are generally liquid at room temperature while saturated fatty acids are solid and more rigid and viscous. Saturated fatty acids are harmful for health since they raise the cholesterol level in blood resulting in high viscosity which causes heart diseases.
