Social science will play important role in upcoming years viz economics, archaeology, anthropology, law etc. But according to me, most important role be fighting against the spreading of infectious disease. As, by first view it seems like this issue is related to the science because it involve the study of pathogen involved in the disease, finding the pathogenesis of the disease but at the same time it is a matter of social science. It is very vital to know the people who are suffering from infectious disease as well as the region where the person are living. This factors help us to understand why the person are the getting prone to the infected disease, the factors responsible for causing the disease whether it is external of patient body or it is internal. It also help to understand how people are maintain their hygiene in order to prevent the disease. Along with that some other important issues related to the spreading of infectious disease are like drug administration, pricing of the drug, human resources and raising of fund, leadership are required in fighting against the spreading of infectious disease. For example, social science helps in dealing the crisis of Ebola virus in West Africa.
In fields of medicine like scientist involve in social science are working with variety of organization in the UK. For example, social scientist are working in the deadly disease like cancer. They are trying to understand, the changes that is undergoing in cancer science.
Social scientist are also working with big organization like National institute of Health in US and deal with patients and their experience of the fighting the disease in various hospitals. They are eager to know the sleep patterns in the cancer patients.
Social scientist are also working with UK Defence ministry to understand the situation of the people who deals with defence and security challenges.
Social scientist are also working with business world like esayJet sponser to know the services of the customer provided by airlines.
