Question

PLEASE HELP! Answer the questions 7 and 8. These questions need to be answered specifically about professor Bob's experiment of the scientific method.

Please cite your sources! You are to answer the following questions in your own words. Please post the questions with your answers in the text box below to submit your work. Remember to use complete sentences, use proper grammar, and don't forget to proofread and spell check your work before submitting it. The Scientific Method

Professor Bob thinks that a new additive he derived from a rare plant will increase the productivity of his students. He recruits volunteers and divides them into two groups, each containing 100 students. He asks each group of students to staple sets of papers together. Group A was given an energy drink with his new additive to drink while stapling the papers; Group B drank an energy drink without the additive. After 30 minutes of stapling papers, Professor Bob finds that Group A has 1,460 stacks stapled, and Group B has stapled 1,820 stacks of paper.

7. What is the Conclusion?

8. Explain at least two ways to improve this experiment.

Explanation / Answer

7. Conclusion

Group A drank energy drink with additive and stapled 360 stacks lesser than Group B.

So hypothesis that additive increases productivity stands cancelled as experiments dont verify it.

8. Ways to improve experiment

A. Instead of adding it in energy drink it could be preferred to provide it in pure form as components of energy drink may alter behavior of additive.

B. Same group should do the same task with and without energy drink as two different groups may have different stamina.
