One of the major revenue-producing items manufactured by C&A Music is a digital effects pedal. C&A currently has one model on the market and sales have been excellent. The pedal is a unique item in that it comes in a variety of colors and can be customized to each individual’s music taste. However, as with any electronic item, technology changes rapidly, and the current pedal has limited features in comparison with newer models. C&A spent $5,500 to develop a prototype for a new pedal that has all the features of the existing one, but adds new features to keep up with competitor’s models and customer demands.
