I am doing Bachelor degree in Accounting, and my research topic is: Financial services to the rural population: a study on the challenges of retail banking.

Explanation / Answer

1) TITLE : Financial services to rural population

2) Background to research the probelm : a study on the challenges of retail banking.

3) Statement of research problem : to investigate and reduce the problems of retail banking to rural people

4) Objectives of research : Aware the people of rural places on banking and advantages of having a bank account to them.

5) Research methodology : Problem solving methodology

6.1) Research design :Cohort Design  

6.2) Population : rural area people 1 million

6.3) sample : 100,000 people

7.1) Data : the kyc documents and official statements released by all the banks in the particular area.

7.2)Data collection and recording : Personal interaction with people and collected data from different bank official accounts.

8) Significance/ importance of research : the research provides the issues and problems , limitations that put rural people away from banking and methods to overcome the limitations.

9) Ethical considerations : People and their occupation, their traditional way saving money, their knowledge on the financial literacy, people habits of spending money, actual medium through which they do transactions.

10) Limitations of research : This research don't provide the exact habitation of the people and their habits on financial spendings. Can't provide every person a retail bank account.

11) Delimitations of the research : The research did not takes into account about the people who do financing business and their boundaries. It stays away from the banking regulations and law of the banking act

12) References : The research referred the standard study of the banking system functionalities and their performance since from the starting days of the banking evolution .
