Explanation / Answer

1. The data in the school type column express the type of school whether public or private. It basically signifies the percent stake hold by each stakeholder and the private control or public control over the organziation. The cost colum represent the total cost incurred by the students to complete an engioreening major or business major in the school. 30 year ROI signifies the total return a student is expected to earn on its investement (Cost paid to school) in the period of 30 years by the job, service or any other means using the skills developed in the major.Annual ROI is the annual return on investement earned by the students on an avergae after completing their major from the school.

2. School type: the cost incurred in public school is less than the private school and hence their ROI is higher than private schools.

Cost- Cost of public school is low.Cost of engineering major is lower than business major.

30 year ROI - ROI of 30 year is higher for the private schools as compared to public schools. The 30 year business major ROI is lower than the Engineering ROI.

Annual ROI - ROI of public school is higher being the low cost of investement.

Thus, a student should prefer a public schoo rather than a private school and engineering major is preferred over business major.
