Assume their cells have lipid bilayer membranes similar to mammalian cells and ion channels with selective permeability for different ions given below.

1) Calculate the Nernst potential for each ion. (Lithium, Iodine and Rubidium)

2) Using the relative membrane permeabilities for each ion, calculate VM (Membrane Potential given by GHK)

Assume tempertature to be 37 Celsius.
