But enzymes require appropriate temperature, pH, and other conditions for their functioning. Enzymes increase the rate of reaction at the appropriate temperature. The enzyme activity linearly increases with increase in temperature to a certain point. If the temperature is increased too higher or lower than the required temperature, the enzyme activity decreases.
