Explanation / Answer

As a nurse it is not allowed to inform the parents of the girl about her pregnancy. It is the duty of the doctor.Problems can arise from the creation of pregnancy notification policies. Although the nurse practitioner may think their potential liability is minimized by establishing mandatory notification policies, these rules may have the opposite effect.  The law is exactly same in all states of California.
