a) credit terms of 2/10, n/30- this means that the buyer can take an early payment discount of 2% of the amount owed if the amount is remitted within 10 days instead of the customary 30 days.
So KC Toys pays on Oct 8th which is within 10 days so it will get discout of 2%
From $20000 $1500 will be deducted as this is returned. So 2% on $18500 is 370. So the payment is 18500-370=$18130
