A 40 year old male has not had labs performed in 4 years. He went to a primary care doctor for some routine lab work and check up. He is currently taking no medications and his blood pressure was 118/78. He was concerned about his overall cardiovascular health after seeing the results of his labs. This client plays in a adult football league seasonally but does not exercise regularly. His abnormal lab readings are: low Vit D, High Hemoglobin Alc, High LDL, Low HDL, high cholesterol/HDL ratio, High ALT, High MPV, High C reactive protein. make dietary and/or nutritional supplement recommendations for this client based upon that interpretation as well as any additional support for his overall health. For vit D deficiency- egg yolks, cheese, dairy products, orange juice, soy milk etc can use.intake should be 400 to 800 IU per day.
For reduce high hemoglobin AIc-use non starchy vegetables like broccoli,green beans and unsweetened foods, brown rice, berries etc.exercise is needed.
