Usually the epidural injection procedure is performed by radiologists or anaesthetic doctor, after an epidural injection is administered the doctor will advice to follow up in the coming days in order to find any side effects or if the injection is adminstered in the right place, An imaging is done while performing the epidural procedure which confirms that the injection is adminitered in the right place therefore this itself confirms that the injection is administered in the right place, however in order to be on the safer side the follow up is done and also to confirm if there is any other symptoms which the patient may discuss with the doctor and the doctor may also ask for imaging procedure and haemogram.
