This subject has really beeen difficult for me. This is, by far, the most challenging assignment I have had to deal with. Please help! If someone can do it for me, that would be even better, but I don't know if it works like that.

The Annual Report should include: 6 PAGES! ALTOGETHER

background and history

financial highlights

ratio analysis (8-10)

summary

conclusion

recommendations

I have only done the background and history. I tried looking at the Annual report for ebay via Google Search but it does not have a summary, conclusion, or recommendation. Please. I am really worried that I may not pass due to this hefty assignment.

eBay is a publicly traded company.

You can use their annual report and 10-k to answer all those questions.

-> Background and history is going to be the easiest part. You will be able to find many sources on that.

-> Financial highlights is going to be a bit trickier. Is there any more information given? If not, I would be picking things that I thought were most important. E.g. IPO, takeovers etc.

-> Ratio analysis is going to be the hardest part. What ratio's do you need to show? You'll be able to find them in the 10-k (Annual report) given above. But you may have to calculate some of the ratios yourself.

The Summary, conclusion and reccomendation are going to be your thoughts! You're not going to find it on the 10-K. You'll need to come up with that yourself!

->Summarize the business.

-> Use the ratios and highlights to draw a conclusion.

-> Do you have any reccomendations? Should they buy someone out? Do they need to expand into a market? Do they need to get out of a market?
