Background:
Needle stick and sharp injuries are the major causative factor for Hepatitis B, C and HIV transmission among health care professionals. Higher risk among nurses as they are closely working with all types of patients i.e. both communicale and non communicable diseases.
Purpose:
To assess the risk of needle stick and sharp injuries among healthcare professionals
To make measures to prevent needle stick and sharp injuries

Literature related with needle stick and sharp injuries
Literature related with disease transmission of Hepatitis-B, C and HIV

Nurses working in the clinical area such as wards, casualty and ICU
