Background:

Needle stick and sharp injuries are the major causative factor for Hepatitis B, C and HIV transmission among health care professionals. Higher risk among nurses as they are closely working with all types of patients i.e. both communicale and non communicable diseases.

Purpose:

To assess the risk of needle stick and sharp injuries among healthcare professionals

To make measures to prevent needle stick and sharp injuries
