Explanation / Answer
Psychologists apply various methods and tactics to evaluate the factors behind a person's act or the way he/she presents.
Case studies, correlation help to assess a general trend. Ethnographic restricts the analysis and results to that of the ethnic region/territory in question. Experiment helps to evaluate scientifically the cause and effects of the person's behavior in specific. Experiments supported by the trends would strengthen the prescription by the psychologists. Yet many a time, something out of the normal may occur which in the course of an experiment which has no prior answer/explanation. For such a situation, one needs to assess the problem by understanding the evolution-demographic-condition of the individual and the coexistent society in which he/she recides.
