I had to find the value added, value added lead time and value added process which I did succesfully. For some reason when I try to calculate the value added ration and put it into percentage it will not accept it. Maybe someone can tell me where I am going wrong. Here is the correct information. Value added minutes= 40 Non-Value Added Minutes Wait Time Minutes = 3190 Move Time = 30 Total non value added time = 3220 Total lead time = 3260 Now I should be able to get the ratio by dividing the value added minutes by the total lead time and get the answer what I come up with is all wrong, please help!

value added ratio = (value added lead time/total lead time) =(40+30)/3260 =70/3260 =0.0214 = 2.14% (multiply by 100 to convert it to percentage) i think you are correct but it might be mistaken in conversion
