managers analyse the financial statements because 1>they contain the indiactors of the firms performance 2>the indiactors depends on various parameters by analyzing them the manager can know where the problem lies and how to solve it. and at the same time he can see which sector is performing well and which is not. b analyzing them he can see the firms real performance. they look for the sectors where the problems lies and they concentrate on how to improve the situation by taking various measures cheers :)
