Therefore full cost of assets purchased for new office are claimed as depriciation.

Office Building+Furniture+ computer system+Art work= 500000+200000+350000+150000=$1200000

$1200000 depriciation can be claimed in full.

As per MACRS depriciation method, assets are classified in to class of assets.

for Office Building comes in non residential real property and its depriciation period is 39 years i.e. depriciation = 2500000/39=$64102.56

for office Furniture comes in 7 years class and depriciation is calculated as cost/7years

= 200000/7= $28571.43

Computer system & Artwork comes in 3years class= (350000+150000)/3

=$166666.67
