I am solving a thermodynamics problem with Refrigerant 22. I am having trouble using the tables to find the missing enthalpies, temperatures, pressure, and volume. For example, I have at process 3: T= 100 F and p=225 lbf/in^2. I want to know what state this is in (saturated, compressed liquid, saturated vapor/liquid). I looked at Saturated Ref. 22 table and found that at 100 F, P(saturated)=210.69. Since this is less than 225 I would assume that it is a compressed liquid... but there is no compressed liq. table for Ref 22??? How do I find enthalpy, h???? I thought maybe it could be superheated vapor but the table has no 100 F and 225 lbf/in^2 value and I don't see how I'd use the superheated vapor table to find it.....

It actually depends upon the process it follows. The state of the liquid present at that point. For Example ; Refrigerant leaving compressor is Saturated Vapour and after condensor is saturated liquid. These are the assumptions we take to solve the problems.

process 3: T= 100 F and p=225 lbf/in^2 :

Clearly it is a subcooled liquid but to determine the accurate states or property values at this state extra information should be provided with the question . Either the process is adibatic or Isochoric etc or mentioning the quality of water .

By cheking the tables , this state is not Superheated vapour as the data doesnt exit.

So it can be either Sat. Vapur or Sat. Liquid or Sat. Liquid + Vapour .

To determine this we need to know the outcome of the previous process .
