current sea level rise is estimated to be on average between +2.6 millimetres (0.10 in) and 2.9 millimetres (0.11 in) per year. at this rate in 100 years sea level will rise 29 cm at maximum. so the coastal regions in this map which are within 0.5 meters from sea level need not worry as they will not be submerged.
