Question
This Assignment Includes an Experiment of your own1 Design and Perform any engineering experiment of your interest which will result data in two columns. That means you will have a dependent variable (say y) for each values of independent variable (say x). A) if so can you use the Curve fitting computer code that you have written to find the best fit for your data....to explain the physics 50 B) Can you write down the Matrix form of the curve fitting equation employing a 3rd order polynomial using your data. Then solve for the Coefficients of the polynomial using 'Gaussian Elimination' method. 50

Explanation / Answer
To interactively fit a curve, follow the steps in this simple example:
Load some data at the MATLAB® command line.
Open the Curve Fitting app. Enter:
In the Curve Fitting app, select X Data and Y Data.
Curve Fitting app creates a default interpolation fit to the data.
Choose a different model type using the fit category drop-down list, e.g., select Polynomial.
Try different fit options for your chosen model type.
Select File > Generate Code.
Curve Fitting app creates a file in the Editor containing MATLAB code to recreate all fits and plots in your interactive session.
