c) Implications of steel grade on the total cost of a project

We know that, Resistance load = Cross section*yield strength

The yield strength of A36 is 36ksi and of A992 is 50ksi.

Therefore the use of A992 steel over the A32 steel in the project increases the total cost of the project.
