Middle ground:In 1607.England established a james town as its first permanent colony on the North American continent.Tobacco became the chief crop of the colony.The middle colony comprised the middle region of the thirteen colonies of the British in North AmericaThey had lot of rich soil,which was allowing the area to become a major expoter of wheat and other grains.
Native Americans social and political power:Their political structure was,of necessity,limited and informal.For Native American socities the family was the primary social unit.Their social organization was becoming more complicateed than it had been during the paleolithic period.formal political organization continued to be quite limited.
Power relations: Colonisim is the establishment .exploitation,maintinence,acquistion and the expansion of colony in one teritory by political power from another teritory.It is a set of unequal relation ships between the colonial power and the colony and often between the colonies.
Middle ground served as a gigantic trade zone in which culture became the economic goods of demand.Violence remained endamic to the trade.Violence became one of the central concerns of the middlle ground.The killing grew out of the trade,violence and interracial murder as a whole were inextricably bound up with commerce.
