So I am studying at a power plant and had an issue for one of the Motor Cooling Pumps. After strainer cleaner was complete, we attempted to swap to motor cooling pump to see if we can establish flow but the breaker kept tripping before pump even started. The motor overload reset button appears to be jammed in as well. The breaker for motor is currently opened . WHAT CAN BE THE SOLUTION TO THIS ISSUE ? Explanation / Answer

1.May be the motor rotor got blocked due to bearing seized.So checked it.

2.May be motor winding got burnt.So check the winding IR value and resistance.

3.May be motor power cable got faulty.Check the cable IR value and resitance with respect to earth.

4.May be impeller got locked.
