Question
An analog to digital converter (ADC) has a four bit outout. Haw many analog valuess can it represent? Select on O A. 16 o C.0062 Ananalogquantity vanes from 0 7 V and is rput to a 6bit AD converter. What analog value is rgresated by each step ? ihe dgtal outp Select ane: O A 0.857 V O B. 1.17V ? ? 0.111 V o D, 0.109V What furnction is periamed by the black labeled 'X in the figure belaw Controls Digital sigial Audio Audio Tape drive Select ane O A. Puwer supply for the audio amplifier o B. Digtal toanio crversian O C. Audio ON/OFF contr Which of the equations below expresses the voltage gain relationship for an operaional amplifer? Select one:Explanation / Answer
1) Here analog values means resolution of the ADC which is given by 2^N=2^4=16. Hence option A is correct.
2) here as we want to represent this analog signal to digital output therefore
Resolution=Vfs/(2^N-1)= 7/(64-1)=0.111. hence option C is correct.
3) In this block diagram we can see that signal is taken at the output in the form of analogue signal and block Y acts as h analog to digital converter because we have to process it by using digital signal processing unit. After processing we want analogue signal back to the output hence we will use digital to analog converter. Hence option B is correct.
4) for Op-amp inverting amplifier Av=vout/vin=-Rf/Rin.
Hence option C is correct.
