This change destroys an EcoRI restriction site normally found in this position. a) How would you use this information in counseling individuals in this family about their likelihood of being carriers of cystic fibrosis? State the experiments needed. b) Suppose you detect that a woman in this family is a carrier. She is married to an unrelated man who is also a heterozygote for cystic fibrosis, but in his case it is a different mutation in the same gene. How would you counsel this couple about the risks of a child having cystic fibrosis?

b) Cystic fibrosis is ia genetic disorder that cannot be prevented but there are many things to keep a child safe from cystic fibrosis if his/her parents are effetcted with this disorder.The parents should know about the risks of cystic fibrosis and i will counsel them to make sure about the treatment of thier child through respiratory theraphy,digestive theraphy and treatment with medicines such as antibiotic,regular medical care and home care such as postural drinage etc,,, to make the child live normally in thier life. By taking the above medical measures by parents, his/her child will not get effected from Cystic fibrosis.
