where a is acceleration,T is tnesion in string,u_k is coefficient of kinetic friction and g is acceleration due to gravity(g = 9.8 m/s^2)

the force acting on mass m2 in y direction

m2 x a = T - f_k1 = T - u_k x n1 = T - u_k x m2 x g x sin(theta) ---------(2)

where theta = 30.0o

(2) - (1) gives

a x (m2 - m1) = u_k x g x (m1 - m2 x sin(theta))

or a = [u_k x g x (m1 - m2 x sin(theta)/(m2 - m1)]

where a is acceleration of the two masses

the tension in the left and right of the pulley are

T1 = m1 x a

and T2 = m2 x a
