Select an application, problem, or need related to the embedded systems course content. The topic can be anything that interests you. Select a topic that includes not only the technical aspects of the application but also a related global /societal / a. contemporary issue (e.8., economic, environmental, safety, human health and welfare, political) as a result of the application or the problem. Find several references that discuss the application and related issues. Note that technical references (refereed journal articles from IEEE Xplore, for example) are required, but you may also find references in standard media (newspapers, magazines, social media, etc.) that discuss global /societal /contemporary issues. b. c. 3. If you have some contacts, who are working in industries, inquire from them if they need any embedded system product which may address the problems that they are facing.

Intel has released its own IoT embedded systems the EDISON, the GALILEO which are programmable using PYTHON. Thing of some innovative projects which can be implemented on this. Few suggestions are: IoT based security system for industrail applications, IoT based wireless sensor networks or Medical IoT.

3. If want to make a simple project using embedded system, then use an arduino do develop systems that can deal with problems such as security, accident prevention systems, systems that alert us about the changes in the environment, etc.
4. If are more into developing the theoretical aspects, you ahould study the topics on design of the MOSFETS which are the building blocks of the embedded systems. Current topics are FINFET, CARBON NANOFET, etc. You can propose designs which offer better functioning compared to the exsisting designs. This is comparatively difficult as it requires a very deep understanding of the subject matter and the knowledge of some of the deisgn softwares such as the CADENCE, etc.
