The company that we will focus on for this discussion will be 'McDonalds'. This fast food chain has outperformed and has remarkable impact on its customers. McDonalds has focused on delivering superior customer value in line with customer intimacy, product leadership or operational excellence. McDonalds provides their customers with reliable products at competitive prices and delivered with minimal difficulty or inconvenience. McDonalds targets the markets and match the demands of those niches.
It uses a detailed analysis of customer intimacy with operational excellence to respond to customer needs and customize a product as per customer's need. Leaders in the company have aligned their operating model, i.e., the business process, company environment, management to server the value discipline which can help them pushing the boundaries while meeting industry standards.
McDonalds has focused on operational excellence, customers need not compromise with the quality and products delivered will be quick and inexpensive. They maintained the customer’s intimacy by focusing on the needs of the customers and aligning the products as per customer's demand. The employees focus on getting the right product with the perfect taste to the customer. Their first priority is customer satisfaction. Product leadership in McDonalds is seen by they are very innovative and immediately commercialize their ideas, product leaders pursue new solutions to the problems that their new products have addressed.
