We know that charged objects with the same sign repel each other and objects charged with opposites signs attract. What happens when a charged object is brought near an object which starts out neutral throughout its volume?A. No force is exerted
B. They repel
C. They attract
D. It depends if the uncharged object is a conductor or an insulator
Isnt it C, because I did the lab, and if your finger gets closer to the tape for example, it will exhcnage an electrical force over time as it localizes the charges.
But that would mean D is correct, because C only happens if you are a conductor?..
