TDF is a testis determining factor which is responsible for normal development of testis, however if it is mutated or non functional, the testis will be remain affected. Other male sex organs re developed from the combinational effect of other gene (SOX9, AMH, MIH etc)

Mullerine inhibitory hormone will stops the development of mullerine duct. Mullerian duct develops into female internal genitalia however if MIH gene is mutated or non function, it will develops in to female internal genitalia. Normal MIH gene is required for formation of male internal genitalia.
