I'll try to help get you started. An alternate hypothesis would be that the frogs will not be able tocomplete their lifecycles at a temperature lower than X. The null hypothesis is that the coldness of a temperature has nobearing on the frog's ability to complete its lifecycle. A variable you can measure is the number of eggs that willhatch at a certain temperature. You can also test for otherthings like the number of eggs a female will lay at giventemperatures. Control variables can include things like environment (besidestemperature) and diet. The testing variable will betemperature. The experiment can consist of breeding and developing frogs indifferent environments of decreasing temperature, starting with acontrol temperature which is the same as that of the habitats thatthey normally inhabit.
